My Ten Essentials

Edit page
  1. Sigma BF + 35mm F1.4 Art: I need a camera that looks different and fits my taste. The BF is so unique, which is why I chose it.

  2. Electronic umbrella: I bought a fully electronic umbrella. It is convenient to use, although it needs charging once a week.

  3. reMarkable tablet: It is an E Ink tablet, though controlling it feels like accessing a VPS in Japan over SSH from mainland China: laggy, with long response times. I still use it for reading things such as the One-Punch Man manga.

  4. CoRou tissues: These tissues are made for babies. I first bought them by accident, but it makes sense in retrospect. I have had rhinitis since senior high school, and ordinary tissues hurt my nose. One day, I stepped into a pharmacy and saw CoRou tissues. After trying them, I started buying and using them every day.

  5. Ricoh Elnica F: A tiny, classic-looking 35mm film camera with a 40mm f/2.8 lens. I truly enjoy using it.

  6. iPhone 17 Pro Max: With Blackmagic Camera, it can shoot 3:2 open-gate Apple Log 2 footage with a LUT. It offers excellent resolution, color, and high-end dynamic range.

  7. OhSnap Bluetooth gamepad: It attaches magnetically to my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Playing Dead Cells, Stardew Valley, and Minecraft feels awesome and helps pass the time on the Beijing Metro.

  8. Nano Smart Pocket Fiber Cloth: A nanofiber cloth for cleaning front lens elements, CMOS sensors, and glasses.

  9. Ricoh GR IV: If I bought one, I would carry it every day. I love the high-contrast black-and-white mode for capturing things that are interesting, different, or unique. It has great shake reduction and a tiny, pocketable body. Its autofocus is not as good as the BF’s; the BF is the fastest-focusing camera I have used.

  10. Asuka Beijing Fashion Special Stylish Color Paper: I love Evangelion. Nothing more needs to be said.
